Come to CAO Congress 2017 from June 28- 30th in Ottawa.
Learn, celebrate with old friends, meet new ones and stay for Canada’s 150th birthday.
I’m a student. Why would I go to Congress?
Better question would be – why wouldn’t you go to Congress?
Congress is a chance to submerge yourself in the world of optometry. You will learn topics and concepts far beyond what the lecture room holds. Have the opportunity to view the latest technology in optometry. Network with some of Canada’s top leaders in our profession.
Okay, how do I register?
Click here to be redirected to the registration website, and make sure to indicate you are an Optometry student in order to receive the student rate ($310.75 with tax). If you have any questions, we’ve created a guide that can be downloaded here below that goes through the process step-by-step.
If you have any further questions, please email us here
But where am I going to stay? All the hotels are probably booked!
There are discounted residences available from the University of Ottawa campus, solely available to students attending Congress. If you’re interested, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the promo code needed. Then you can proceed here to reserve a residence! Currently there are both single rooms and double rooms (two single beds) available for about $60 per person per night. You can also reserve these rooms for Canada Day if you are staying for the 150th celebration!
